Our Philippines team in Iloilo installs solar and battery backup alongside the internet itself, for places where mains power cannot be relied on. See the Philippines page.
We aim to solve both problems with the solar and backup power systems that drive the Smart Barangay. About 40 kVA of solar is installed across DigiHwy Certainty's Philippine sites so far.
The aim is a carbon-neutral footprint while digitalising, so connecting a community does not come at the cost of its environment.
