Nobody was building for you. So we did.
Every organisation we meet in Singapore has some version of the same three complaints. They are not complaining about technology. They are complaining about how it has been sold to them.
Are you tired of feeling like this?
Anonymised, lightly edited, otherwise word for word. These are the messages that start most of our conversations.
We pay for eleven seats. Six people actually use the system. Nobody can tell me how to reduce it without reopening the contract.Centre manager, family service centre
I asked for our member list as a spreadsheet. They told me data export is a paid add on.Association secretary, Toa Payoh
The agency that built our site closed in 2019. We still do not have the hosting password, so nothing gets updated.Community group chairperson, Jurong
Forty volunteers share one account. I know that is not allowed. A seat costs more than our monthly transport claim.Volunteer coordinator, welfare organisation
The renewal went through again before anyone approved it. We only found out from the bank statement.Treasurer, professional body
They demoed for two hours and never once asked what we actually do all day.Executive director, social enterprise
Our AGM attendance is still on paper because the system we pay for cannot handle proxies.Secretariat, national association
You are not alone, and it is not your fault
We have been building for organisations like yours since 2014, and working with Singapore agencies since 2017.
Tell us what is brokenWhat keeps going wrong
None of these are technical problems. They are commercial decisions that somebody else made, and your organisation is the one living with them.
A per-seat invoice: programme lead S$ 89, admin S$ 89, forty volunteers sharing a single login, billed monthly at S$ 979. Overpriced logins
Per seat pricing designed for companies with sales teams, sold to a social service agency with six staff and forty volunteers. The volunteers end up sharing one account, which is both a licence breach and a security problem.
A members.csv file with its export button locked, labelled export unavailable on your plan. Closed systems
Case notes, member records and years of institutional memory sit in a platform you cannot export from, under a contract that renews itself. Changing vendor means starting your history over, and the vendor knows it.
A chart of the segments software companies chase: enterprise tallest, then SME software, then startups, and social service agencies a dotted sliver at the end. Nobody builds for us
Singapore social service agencies, associations and community groups are not a market segment anyone is chasing. So the software that reaches them is either a global product that does not fit or a local one that was abandoned in 2019.
Four pledges we will put in writing before you sign anything.
Not marketing lines. Ask us for them in the proposal and they appear in the proposal.
You own it all
Source code, hosting accounts, domain, data. In your agency's name, from the first day, not as a parting gift when you leave.Honest advice
If the answer is to switch off two systems and train four people, that is the answer you get, even though it is worth far less to us than a build.Dollar clear pricing
What it costs to build, what it costs to run each month, and what it would cost you to walk away. All three, in writing, before you commit.Measured by your mission
Not by seats sold or features shipped. If the system is live and nobody's work got easier, we got it wrong and we will say so.

The part where we show our working
See the projects“They handed over the repository and the hosting login on day one. I did not have to ask.”
Membership bodySingapore “We were quoted for a mobile app. They told us we needed a working spreadsheet first.”
Welfare organisationBukit Merah “Unlimited volunteer accounts. That single line changed how we run our programmes.”

If the system is live and nobody's work got easier, we got it wrong.
And we would rather hear that from you in month one than month twelve.
Tell us what is not working.
No pitch deck, no discovery fee. Just a conversation about what your organisation actually does all day.
